Tunerstudio freezes when opening project

Hi,

I bought a macbook pro 2010 and want to use this as my tuning laptop.
The install and registration of Tunerstudio were no problem, but when I want to open a tune or import my existing project it kind of freezes right there.
Opening project... it said and then the blue progress bar stops.

I've read about the OSX problems but can't handle it by myself.

Macbook pro 2010 osx 10.6.8 java SE6 by apple inc. 32 and 64 bit version 1.6.0_65-b14-462 Lindy serial to usb recognized as USB serial controller D version 4 (prolific technology)
The Lindy adaptor cable and software are working perfect on my old HP laptop with windows professional.
I've read something from deinstall the 64bit java version but really don't know how to do this.

I'm a Mac noob, be gentle please ; )

A litlle bit Help would be very appreciated

upgrade to Yosemite download al updates and install java for osx 2015-001 (old package)
