Bluetooth Adapter

Hello

I purchased the recommended Bluetooth adapter, which works great with my MS2 and Shadow Dash installation. I have several long road trips where I plan to operate the BT/Shadow Dash for up to 12 hours at a stretch. Also given the location of my MS, it would be convenient to leave the adapter permanently installed to the serial port on the MS.

Is the BT adapter suitably rugged to be installed to the MS permanently, and operated for such a lengthy duration? Is such a permanent installation a common practice?
