Taking 2 datalogs simultaneously

Headed to the track tonight and would like to log/veal the engine and take a datalog of the tranny controller. Can I do this with two sessions of tunerstudio open with each on there respective project?

Setup, ms3pro tied via canbus to a microsquirt for the transmission

If you create a combined project (i.e. with the trans as a "CAN device") your datalogs will include both datasets.

Ok. I created another project and under property's, CAN device I added CAN1 and searched out the configuration file, and tried the .ini file and the cfg file, when the project reloads it comes with a firmware mismatch and if I connect anyway I can take a datalog and have the CAN stuff in there for the tranny but no real data. Temp stays at 0

Adding the CAN device is covered in the latest trans manual isn't it ?

Got it. Clear in the manual. I had had the can setting wrong at 0 rather than 7 as it should have been. All logging now
