hi
im constantly losing the connection bettwen the megasquirt and the Laptop,
i have tested 5 diferent types of RS232 cables, including the ATEN UC232a usb - rs232 converter,
on the manual reffers to electronic noise...
but on the bench, is the same problem.
someone can help me???

USB is the most common problem, but not always the culprit. I have had instances where it was indeed the RS232 cable.
However, if it is dropping on the bench, it sounds like there is another issue.
If you can post / send a COM Debug log with the drops in it, I can see if there is an error occurring or if it is timeouts.
To get the COM Debug:
- Delete your TunerStudioAppDebug.txt
- Start TunerStudio
- Check "Communications --> Comm Debug Log"
- Open your Project, connect to your MegaSquirt
- Wait for at least 1 drop out
- Close TunerStudio
- Post / Send the TunerStudioAppDebug.txt
However, if it is dropping on the bench, it sounds like there is another issue.
