Registration issues, again on linux

For discussion of Phil Tobin's Tuner Studio software (Only about the tuning software itself, not about how to tune or firmware features)

Registration issues, again on linux

Post by piledriver »

Got a nice new battery for my lenovo X300, makes it useful again.
Installed a fresh Minty distro to diagnose some serial permissions issues(were distro-upgrade (user id related), solved with clean Mageia install), works great,Mint17.2 using same homedir, comes up, paid TS and MLV are all registered and good...

...as long as I start it with a network attached.

Doesn't matter if it all worked peachy in the driveway, it isn't saving the network validated state of registration, so if i try to start it up when not connected, i'm in "lite" mode again, and nothing will connect or work properly on Linux at least, lite mode still seems to work on Win10.

I thought this was a solved problem, but i guess not.

Also tried emailing you at your listed yahoo account with no response, would like to register TS and give it a go on Win10 on this machine as well, as it seems to be almost as fast as Linux.
(multiple OS one machine still counts as 1 PC right?)

No complaints otherwise, working great.

Found my original registration emails in backups, sadly the original keys no longer work.

My TS registration is oddly on a secondary email account, odd as I bought TS and MLV at the same time.
(perhaps there was an online registration reset interface at some point or something)

In any case sending another email with all the info I have requesting valid keys.
