TS3 Bar gauge error with generic sensor inputs

Post by Speedy_G »

I noticed in the Dashboard Designer, that you can't save a dashboard as soon you have added a bar gauge for a generic sensor input.

"Error saving Dashboard. Error saving dashboardcomponent. Check log file for details. Check Log for more details"

It says twice i should check the log file, but it does not create a log file :D

The log would be the TunerStudioAppDebug.txt

Which type of Bar Gauge?

Is this in 2.6 or 2.9 TS?

I've tried all the bar type gauges and am not reproducing. I'm guessing there it might be some other particular characteristic of that gauge?
Is it only with one specific generic sensor gauge, or any of them?

Can you save just the gauge?

yes exactly it was in 2.9

Bust concering the TunerStudioAppDebug.txt.
I deleted this file yesterday, as there were alot of older stuff in it.
I thougt TS would create a new one, when a error occours.
But it didnt (at least after that generic sensor error).
Now i made a new (empty) TunerStudioAppDebug.txt and started TS2.9 and created a bar gauge with generic sensor input.
Error message was shown and i closed TS. But the Log file is still empty.

TS will create a TunerStudioAppDebug.txt as soon as it starts, no error needs to occur.

It will create it in what ever directory you are using as your TunerStudioProjects dir, not nessecarily in the TunerStudioProjects dir it created. So where ever you are opening your projects, the parent dir.
