Just loaded ShadowDash & connecting it to a running MS3 was easy & all good so far but a few newbie questions:
1) I renamed a few generic sensors (Sensor 1 - 4) thru TS. How do I transfer these customization to ShadowDash so logging will show the field correctly?
2) I want to create a simplified dash when using ShadowDash in portrait format. I can create one via TS to start but standard TS is in Landscape mode. Any tips on how to start building a portrait dash?
3) Is there any way to tell ShadowDash to use the microSD on the tablet as opposed to main memory? There's a lot of room there.
thanks!

Re: ShadowDash newbie question...
Those names are saved to the msq in, but not to the controller. If you copy your msq from TunerStudio to your Android device as:hobieboy wrote:Just loaded ShadowDash & connecting it to a running MS3 was easy & all good so far but a few newbie questions:

!
/Shadow Dash MS/MS3/CurrentTune.msq
Then start Shadow Dash and connect, it will read the PC variables from that file and the names will be reflected.
You can also do a long touch on any gauge and change the Title and units, limits, etc..
Some info here:hobieboy wrote:2) I want to create a simplified dash when using ShadowDash in portrait format. I can create one via TS to start but standard TS is in Landscape mode. Any tips on how to start building a portrait dash?

Another tip, use TunerStudio 2.6 for now... Shadow Dash doen't yet support TS3 dashboards.
Unfortunately there is not, that needs to be added for the next release.hobieboy wrote:3) Is there any way to tell ShadowDash to use the microSD on the tablet as opposed to main memory? There's a lot of room there.

Thanks for the explanation Phil. So after copying CurrentTune.msq to the Android device then start logging, the renamed fields will appear correctly then?LT401Vette wrote: If you copy your msq from TunerStudio to your Android device as:
