Unable to calibrate thermistor

I'm running trans code 1.0.1 on a Microsquirt and for some reason I cant get the thermistor calibration to work for the transmission temperature sensor. I have measured and verified that the sensor works and the wiring is OK. I'm using TS Beta 2.9.127 and I use the predefined GM values in the drop down menu, and it reports back that the write to controller was successful. However the readings are off with 30C, showing -10 when it should be 20C, and when the project is opened the temperature "floats", starting at a very high value and the slowly decrease and finally stabilize at -10C. What I have found is that if I reflash the firmware and calibrate the sensor it shows the correct value and works until I shut down, then it's back to the same again?
