VEAL, MAF and NB

VEAL, MAF and NB
After rough tuning of my MAF setup with narrow band sensor I gave VEAL a shot.
The results are not very promising.
Here is a portion of the log.
As you can see, ego correction is at 107%, VEAL leans out about 75%.
All corrections VEAL has made are much too lean.
What's wrong ?
Doesn't VEAL work with a narrow band sensor ?
Are settings wrong ?

Re: VEAL, MAF and NB
In my opinion/experience,tuning with VEAL without a wideband, is going to be very difficult! Remember, narrow band only tells MS if you are rich or lean, not by how much.

Re: VEAL, MAF and NB
but ego correction does.
If ego correction swings between 105% and 115% you are 10% too lean (average of 105 and 115 is 110).
According to the VEAL documentation, VEAL should run with a narrow band sensor.

VEAL or MLV's VE Analyze? (I see the screenshot is MLV)
Using your log and msq in MLV VEA, I am getting much different results:

VEAL - MLV used to analyze what VEAL did.

Re: VEAL, MAF and NB
Is the log you posted from the full session that took your table from 100 to where it is?
VEAL and MLV's VEA should come to similar tables. MLV seems to be working with the narrowband.
Looking at it, I think the new TS may not be handling a Narrowband properly.

Re: VEAL, MAF and NB
Question...
Have you calibrated your AFR Table under the Tools menu?
There is a Narrowband selection there and if not calibrated to a Narrowband it would cause this.

Re: VEAL, MAF and NB
yes, the log is from the whole session.
Does the old (2.XX) TS work better ?
Shall I do that and try again ?

Re: VEAL, MAF and NB
thank you.
I am on vacation for the next 2 weeks.
After that I will make another try.

Re: much better now
after calibrating the AFR Table for narrowband VEAL gives very reasonable values.
Thank you
