new channel definition

I would like to program a channel that measures the time elapsed between 2 rpm point. Can someone point me in the direction for the formula ?

Time between 2 RPM points...

by number of records apart, or by RPM values? Or how are these 2 points to be selected.

In MLV you can drag the cursor across the Time bar to select from point to point and get the min/max/avg/ time between.

separated by rpm : ie 2000 rpm and 3000 rpm and the time it takes for the engine to accelerate with a load from one point to the other.

I was thinking on using this during tuning and in MLV.

If you had 2 specific points in mind, like the 2 mentioned it might be possible, but sort of complex as a TS OutputChannel.
It seems easier to view that in MLV by dragging the cursor:
