Black screen when full screen and corrupted display

Hey,

TS 3005, when I switch to full screen I get black screen.
I get random display corruptions like that:

I am not sure what changed, but some windows update seems to be causing this over the past 1 - 2 years..
I used to know of 1 computer that did this a year ago, but over the past year it has been happening to others running the same version of TS.
We have 1 windows 8.1 computer here that was way behind on updates, last week we let it take all the updates and it started doing the same thing...

It will paint fine, but the trigger seems to be if any tooltip or menu popup outside the parent window, then it starts painting a strange double buffer...
MegaLogViewer has the same thing happen, but is harder to trigger as it doesn't have so many tooltips and menus.

Anyway, there is a fix already built in..

By default the Java runtime uses DirectX to paint on windows and OpenGL on Linux and OS X.

Switch it to force OpenGL and that tends to fix it.

From the main menu:
Options --> Advanced --> Force OpenGL Active

That should fix it until the JRE addresses this properly.

Yes, you need to restart TS for it to take effect.

Same issue here with 3.0.05
I tried clicking force open gl, but that's not working.
I've just been avoiding the full screen, but it's very difficult / impossible to see the advanced options on the default auto tune screens due to the font size.

Did not help on fullscreen but beside that all is good when opengl is disabled.

Mine locks up on any auto tune full screen and the cursor arrow disappears. I just upgraded to the newest version of Windows, but that didn't seem to help much.

I suppose it could be my "laptop", I suppose.
It's an older T100, but works fine as a dash tablet/tuning device.

Alright guys. Guess I'm retarded. I UNCHECKED the
"Force OpenGL Active" and now everything is working nicely.
