blue tooth and usb cable at the same time

Post by racerron »

i have been having commutation problems between TS and my ms3x. will having both the blue tooth and the USB cable connected at the same time cause a drop in commutations. the usb is on the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed A to B Device Cable and the blue tooth is on the rs232 9 pin serial port.

Ive had both plugged in and not noticed any issue but never tried using both at the same time.

Is it possible to blue tooth to a tablet dash and have a laptop in a passengers lap?
this may have been asked before but this is first thread i found as a newbie to the forum and thought id ask :)

That won't work. One at a time only. The other must be unplugged.

Even just plugged in at the same time can cause random drop out issues.

I don't have them plug in at the same time. I have the usb and the blue tooth plugged in the ms all the time because its tucked under the dash. I plug in the usb or link up this the Bluetooth on the lap top side. Is that ok?.

While talking over USB with a Bluetooth Adapter plugged in (not doing anything). This has worked fine for me at times, then other times I start getting drop outs over USB, unplug the BT Adapter, and it is good.
