EGO gauge - small issue
Hi,
I use a AEM UEGO 30-4100 and the gauge in the car shows correct (I suppose) values.
The EGO gauge in Tuner Studio only shows 12.10 all the time.
Is there anyone that know what I've done wrong?
I use MS2/Extra and there I chose "single wide band" and "locally".

Did you do the "Calibrate AFR table" under the tools menu?

Re: EGO gauge - small issue
Thank you for the quick answer!
I searched the other threads and saw a couple of questions just like mine so I've just been out calibrating it and it works fine now.
I have another question though but I think this is the wrong forum for it?
My rpm gauge (in Tuner Studio) jumps up 500-1000rpm's for less than a second and when it does the pulse width goes up from app 6 to app 12 ms and the EGO goes down towards AFR 10 (TPS moved a little too; maybe from 1 to 2-3%). I've had this strange problem for about a week and it's getting worse (more often), maybe 1 time per 20sec now (It's not only when idling but I havent noticed it when going full throttle). Do you know what the problem can be? I'm thinking about the signal from the Hall sensor maybe?
Update from this morning: Today it was cold outside, just 10°C, and when I drove off to work the car didn't have these problems until it got warm.

Re: EGO gauge - small issue
The pulse width change is likely just an effect of the RPM spikes.
How are you triggering it?
msq and datalog?

Hi and thanks for helping,
Yes, I think so too.
I have three steel teeth with 120 degrees between them on the crank shaft and a hall sensor.
I don't have a datalog but my msq (with no calibrated AFR) is attached in my first question in this topic.

Re: EGO gauge - small issue
Hi again,
I have two log files from today but they were too big to post here, if someone wants to help me I can e-mail them.
Some things to know before reading the log files:
* Car has an automatic transmission
* I tried hard to be smooth on the accelerator.
* real rpm was quite constant
* in the first log I had to start the car 5 times I think, because it is sometimes hard to start when warm.
Again, thanks for all the help!
Latest MSQ: Here are two screen dumps of my log:

Looks like trigger noise.

Hi!
Do you believe it is the hall sensor itself, or something else that is the problem?

Re: EGO gauge - small issue
Hi,
I just replaced my hall sensor with a new identic one and it seems like it was the hall sensor that was the biggest problem.
I have some issue with the TPS so I will look into that but overall the car runs quite well now.
