Update won't complete, says TS is running

Any known trick on windows10, Tunerstudio ultra 3.0.06 getting the update to continue? It thinks TS is running (but it is not).

Is there a lock file somewhere I can delete?

Have you checked the Task Manager for any instances of TS running? What I would recommend is power cycle the laptop then try downloading the update or you could do the power cycle then download and run the installer for TS Beta v3.0.08.

So if I download the new version and install my tune files etc wont be corrupted and will still work?

When the Installer is run it does not edit or modify anything in the TunerStudioProjects folder so they will not be affected.

I have had mine hang on that screen before. It usually just finishes the update if I just do a restart on the computer.
