Read timing from Coil pickup

Hi Guys

I have 2 questions.
1. Is it at all possible to read the timing in Tuner Studio from a coil pickup on a fuel only install?
2. AFR Targets - AFR1 Target seems to work but when switching tables/tunes AFR2 Target does not seem to read on my dash design.

You'd need to be more specific. If you mean ignition timing - MS doesn't actually check what this is. It relies on you setting and checking the base timing is correct. Unlike with fuelling, where a wideband O2 sensor will show you what the fuelling actually is regardless of what MS 'says' it should be.

For MS to log actual ignition timing, you'd need an additional sensor set exactly at a known point - say TDC. Which would serve no real purpose, as knowing what the base timing actually is serves the same purpose.
