x coord put indicator off-screen, how to get it back?

For discussion of Phil Tobin's Tuner Studio software (Only about the tuning software itself, not about how to tune or firmware features)

x coord put indicator off-screen, how to get it back?

Post by 9secz »

I was lining up a bunch of indicators like soldiers when I typoed the x coordinate. Now the indicator is probably in some other city. Is there a way to get it back on screen?

I can make another one, but it seems so inelegant to have an invisible indicator floating around.

Hmmm... Can't select something you can't see.
The only thing that comes to mind is opening the .dash file in a text editor.
search for the label text, then change the relativeX in that dashComp

Sort of need something that lists all dashboard components.

Another solution cam to mind..

You could keep hitting the tab button with the Properties dialog open.. Eventually it should get to the lost component.
