Am I being to ambitious in my thinking here?
Wondering if I hooked up the MS3 via CAN to a factory ECU in another car, can it sniff out and duplicate the map on that ECU?
Am I just plumb crazy? I'm thinking Plumb crazy.

Not going to happen!
To do what you are after you would need as a minimum a standalone CAN diagnostic tool, plus factory specifications or hundreds of hours for reverse engineering.
