Shadowdash Questions

I'm tired of taking my laptop In the car and have been reading about the Shadwodash.

If I buy the Bluetooth adapter and a android tablet I will have the same function as the Laptop or am I limited in what I can do?

Is it just for having a dash or can I make tuning changes just like the laptop and save them as well?

No tuning changes with ShadowDash.
Its only Dashboard and Logger.

Yep, Shadow dash is a dashboard and data logger.

It can load and save msq's, but does not have tuning widgets.

A windows tablet (intel atom based) can run the full tunerstudio quite well.

Some way to use AutoTune with the Dashboard would be nice.

For example i use a Android Tablet as Dashboard.
But when i want to use AutoTune with a new Engine i can't use the dashboard. So i dont have any informations about the engine rpm, temperatures and so on.
And i cant take a look at the laptop (with AT running), because im riding on a motorcycle and the laptop is inside the rucksack.

Communication via CAN to Shadow-Dash seems not possible.

I dont know how much work this would be: But would it be possible to use the laptop as sender/transmitter via Bluetooth to the Tablet ?
So that i can use TunerStudio on the Laptop running with Autotune, but the laptop sends all the broadcast data to Tablet with Shadow Dash?

There is quite elaborate solution for this in the works. Not quite as outline, but actually much more capable.

Is this with the new ShadowDash Version for 1.5 firmware, or will it be released later?

Any particular tablet you recommend? My current laptop needs a battery and is outdated. Would rather put the money towards a new piece.
