Write reference table to can device

Hy,

"Calibrate Thermistor Tables..." dialog...
I had it working already. But after update to TS 3.0.18.08 it doesn't send the values to the can device.
I have confirmed it with a can sniffer.

Within the dialog the info is "Writing to controller, Please wait..." but no values are sendet.
Also the communication to the MS stops, the gauges wouldn't be updated until i close the "Calibrate Thermistor Tables..." dialog.

Hope you can help me with this.

What type of CAN device? And that table calibration function has to be defined in the ini file for the CAN device so your project has to be defined correctly also.

My own can device.
It is defined within the ini file.
As i told, it did work but now it doesn't.

I have tested it yesterday also with 3.0.17 but no luck.
I'm not sure why TS stucks during the write. Also the Dashboard freezes for a short time.

I don't see any attempts to write to the CAN box in that Comm Debug log.

What about the error message from the thread ?

If I try to send the values the dialog show write table please wait.
But the progress bar stays at 0%.
And there are no data at the can bus.

I can't do anything else.
I have enabled com debug log and tried to send the table with the Thermistor Table generator.

I have attached a std_ms2gentherm.log so you can see that it worked last week.
The file is also generated at the moment, but the caclulation of the values stops at adc 751. No glue why.

What else can i do to fetch the data you need?

Does the CAN1.ini looks okay to you? Should the Ref Table function work? All Parameters okay?

That appears to just be a snippet of a comm debug that wasn't taken during the error.

Hello,

i have made a new com debug log.
Hopefully it helps.

Also i have attached a screenshot where you can se the Thermistor Tables dialog.
The screenshot was taken 10 seconds after i pressed write to controller.

If i click write to controller a new therm file is generated, but not fully.
Something goes wrong , don't know what

This evening i have tested again.

It was possible to send the reference table via pass througth to the can device 2-3 times.
After that without any change to the project/ini no write possible.

Im sure that something goes wrong with the calculation from the therm table, because TS
didn't calc the table till the end.

For me this is very strange, why does it work 2-3 times and after that it stops working??

Attached a commlog where you can see that TS write to the device.
Each Package is 269Bytes long (256Byte table data + 4 bytes CRC + 9Bytes Commands) 4 packages are sendet.
Look at 00:14:19 there you will find the first package.

Does CAN passthrough for other things work after it fails for the table writing? If there is a CAN bus error, the MS3 will stop sending over CAN; you should be able to see that in the can_error and can_error_cnt variables.

I am seeing a lot of CAN_TIMEOUT 0x8A reported in there.

Also this:
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

There is not a complete stack to see where it is running out of memory or why.

That is a timeout between the MS3 and expansion board.

Because the MS3 does not request any data at the moment.

Is it possible to change the inter write delay for the reference table writing?
