new latop Win 10 switch to Win 7, still no communication

This ms1 ver 2.2 build is fully working, running via older laptop which I borrowed. I havent squirted anything in years and trying to get back into the game with this new Hyundai build but I had to buy a newer laptop

i got a debug attatched but if the .msq is needed then I can upload later tonight from older laptop since this one wont even read it. lol

What type of USB to DB9 Cable do you have?

If you open the port in TS's Mini-Term and type a Q
Do you get a response?

I have a DB9 to USB cable and a pin to pin DB9 cable.
If you have an old computer with DB9 serial ports, use them.


My DB9 to USB worked with Windows 10 at first. One week later stopped working without a reason I can understand Then I started using an old laptop with Windows XP, and the DB9 to USB, the cable worked again (but not with the win 10 lap, checked it).

Yesterday DB9 to USB stopped working with my old win XP laptop. Won't work anymore. Used a DB9 to DB9, at least works for now.

Problem solved!!!

I'm using the typical db9 to usb offered by DIY,
I went offline to start a new project and manually selected the comm port and .s19 file after loading updated firmware and it Detected!!!!
