Autotune datalog

Post by theduck »

Does tunerstudio store a datalog when using autotune? I have just started mapping the car using autotune and was getting some crazy loud bangs from the exhaust on decel and wanted to look at the logs to try and work out why.

Autotune works great on relatively steady state driving like on the highway. Most backfires happen on sudden changes in load. Best to look at data logs to figure out that sort of thing. I personally use MAPxRPM vs Duty Cycle to figure out if you are way fat or way lean causing the issue.

A data log is not automatically started for Autotune.
