GPS on a 8.1 tablet

Postby lotus23C » Sat Apr 08, 2017 1:24 am

Hi
I haven't been very successful getting Tuner studio to see the onboard GPS on my windows 8.1 tablet.
Tuner studio wants a com port or blue tooth connection, I don't think the onboard GPS has any conection to a port as I can't find any port info in the sttings.
thanks Patrick

If you do a search you should be able to find a virtual COM port program for the onboard GPS. I started to do this but never finished but I do recall finding that this wasn't just an issue for MS users - I think Arduino folks use the same trick often enough.
