Quick question. Are the boost control target table figures in kpa or psi?

The units are KPA.

Hmmm that's what I thought. Just tried it for the first time and had 50 in all the boxes but it went wel over that to more like 150kpa of boost.

Have had a play around with the settings and seems to be something else wrong as no matter what target etc I set it still overboosts. With no power to the valve I get wastegate pressure but as soon as I add power it overboosts

The values in the table are absolute, so you have at add 101kpa to your desired boost level. So, if your target is 120kpa (about 17psi), the table values would be 220kpa.

How is your valve plumbed? With no DC being sent to the valve it should be venting the top of the wastegate. As DC is applied it should be applying boost pressure to the top of the wastegate.

Sorry was away for the bank holiday and now off work unwell. I am using a 3 port MAC valve plumbed to an internal wastegate so the 3rd port is open to atmosphere. With no power to the valve it is correctly venting to the top of the wastegate. With power applied to the valve it is only venting to atmosphere, seemingly no matter what settings I use. I havent got my latest version of the tune on this laptop but the boost controller settings on the attached are the same as I have in the car.

Hi
Your Boost settings are incorrect.
"Maximum Boost (kpa)" = 100kpa is sea Level, no Boost!
"Boost Control Target Tabel" = 50 is cruising!
Please start in Open Loop and understand the Settings!

I realise that from one of the earlier posts, not had opportunity to try it since. Will test in open loop and go from there.
