Shadow Dash connects to Bluetooth adapter, never sees ecu

I picked up the Bluetooth adapter from EFI Analytics and bought a Samsung Galaxy E lite to log and tune my race car during practice and qualifying sessions. Loaded Shadow Dash, and within minutes had it connected to the Bluetooth adapter.

However, it never finds the ecu.
The computer connects fine with Tuner Studio using the same cable.

Did I miss something that is required to set this up?
Microsquirt v2
MS2/extra 3.4.2
Tunerstudio v3.0.22

How are you powering the adapter?

Using a 12v socket and USB charger. Running on it's own circuit

I learned that the adapter for MS2 does not work well with the microsquirt. EFI Analytics has changed the description on their website to make this more clear, and are exchanging the dongle.

So I tried a USB connection using an otg adapter. The tablet sees the adapter, but never sees the ecu. Tried two different microsquirt interface cables.

It works with the correct serial adapter and hardwired.

Of course now that I have logged with it on track, I decided that I really need to use the bluetooth to ensure that the little micro-usb connector does not fall out. SO - big thanks to Brian and company at EFI Analytics for helping me stumble along with this one and get it figured out. I should have the right adapter later this week, and will have it logging via shadowdash at the next dyno session.
