displaying current launch rpm

For discussion of Phil Tobin's Tuner Studio software (Only about the tuning software itself, not about how to tune or firmware features)

displaying current launch rpm

Post by nathaninwa »

I have wired in a 0-5 volt reference wire to my I/O box using CANADC06. Id like to run a guage displaying the current selected rpm if we can. I run a windows tablet in my drag car and use TS as my dashboard

Attached is my current tune to make sure its wired right. I am not using generic sensor input, just having the 0-5 volt come in on canadc06 selected under variable launch

There's no built-in method.
However, how about allowing input sharing and configuring that as a generic sensor, linear with the 0 and 5V values as your min and max launch numbers. (I haven't tested this.)

Tried this out over the weekend, the variable launch works, but when I also turn on the input into he generic table to create a gauge, i get the dreaded input pin conflict error

I'll use some tape around the knob and write in what the current positions will be

Did you turn on input sharing?

I guess I'm unfamiliar with this feature. Where do I find it?

Sharing input did the trick.
