Which EGO/Lambda Delay table?

Which EGO/Lambda Delay table?

Post by vw_chuck »

There seems to be two EGO/Lambda delay tables for MS3. The one found under EGO delay has much more resolution than the one found in VEAL. Does VEAL use the higher resolution table if it is available to it? In another thread someone said it does.

VEAL does not use the larger table under fuel settings, it uses the on in VE Analyze.

If using all the latest hardware and firmware wouldn't it make sense to use the larger table as this would be an increase in accuracy?

I hadn't even noticed this table had been added to the firmware.

The TS one can be any size I desire. In an early version it was much larger, but that was found to be a bad idea.
Do you have the equipment to properly fill in all the cells of a larger table?

I am actually leaning toward a whole different approach to that eliminates the table completely.

Ah very good. Sounds like you have it covered. Just thought with more points it would be more accurate if the delay is not linear with RPM and MAP.
