My car is having issues and I needed to hook up to TS to see what was going on.
Half an hour later and three restart attempts, and I still can't get Tuner Studio to load. Ever since updating to v3, I have had issues with long load times for TS. It isn't the fastest or newest computer. It is a Toughbook CF-19 with a 1.06 Core Duo (I think) and 3gb memory running W7. This is pretty much the only thing I still keep this computer around to run. That and my oscilloscope software.
If this older machine is still capable of running TS, then putting some effort into fixing it, maybe upgrading to a SSD drive, and sorting out the software is worth it.
I am not sure what TS version is loaded up, only that it is one of the v3.x versions. All I can get is the splash screen, after waiting 10-15 minutes. I do have the paid version, but I think there is another higher tier version available now?

Re: TS 3.X won't boot up
Have you reinstalled?
I would definitely recommend getting to the current installer.
Perhaps try deleting the file tsUser.properties from the dir:
c:\Users\[userName]\.efiAnalytics\
