Easy way to cut fuel during driving

Post by mrx79 »

Hallo,
i'am not sure if this is the correct subforum, but maybe someone knows.
Is there an quick and easy was to cut off all injectors during driving?

I would like to test some things for tuning purposes and would like to drive around and switch off and on all injectors while driving around for a short time.

e.g. drive at 3000rpm -> press a button/switch/whatever which turns off the injection -> wait a few seconds -> press the button/switch again which reenables injection as normal.

Is something possible?
I'am not talking about injector test mode or something, as i would like to test it in the car, on the road/dyno with everything else doing normal operation.

My initial thought was to recalibration overrun in a special way for it and just modify e.g. a signle parameter which triggers it, but this would mean to change a calibration while driving, doing it with a push button or single key would make things easier and safer.

What Matt said. OR just throw in a relay on the 12v line to your injectors.

A tableswitch could actualy work and can be operated via an external switch... good&safe idea... ;-)
