Configuring SD Card Logging

Tuner Studio 3.0.28 / MS3 1.4.1
Trying to reconfigure SD Logging I'm trying to select and deselect log fields to get the most pertinent set for me given the 55 byte limit. I'm finding that I cannot deselect individual fields and some fields keep appearing in Selected Data Log Fields without being selected (Fuel Flow cc, Fuel Flow lph).
Is there any way to fix this. It is painful having to deselect everything and try to get the least compromised set in one hit without corrections.
BTW many of the dialogs don't size nicely on a 4K display (true for many other apps too).
Many thanks,
Nigel

Many fields are calculated by TunerStudio using other fields. So if you have selected a couple field that are all TS needs to calculate a give field it is automatically added.

For example Duty Cycle is calculate from rpm and pw (plus some tune settings), so if you set your SD logging to log RPM and PW, DutyCycle comes along for a free ride. No more of your 55 bytes is used up..

Likewise, if you set it to log DutyCycle, RPM and PW need to be added as well so TS has all the data needed to calculate DutyCycle.

This is what the display just under the Available/Selected Fields list boxes is for. It shows what underlying channels are used.

That is coming up soon to make some tweaks to make this clearer, like if trying to remove a field with underlying dependencies, display what other fields would be impacted and offering to remove those as well.

Also note; the 1.5 firmware has a 128 byte logging format, so you can fit a bunch more.

Thanks guys. It wasn't clear to me why the additional fields were being selected. I just wanted a couple more than I can get. I would like to upgrade to 1.5 but I am concerned about how much time it will take to re-tune to just get back to where I am now. I really need to find a way to sort out my lambda delay table.
