Got this working today. I need to sort out the ign advance as the led digit value and the needle value didn't match.
306 SBFord, Torquer II EFI intake, 60 lbs injectors, 8 LS2 coils, VS Racing 7668 turbo, 4R70W, MS3x fw1.4 w/built in trans controller.

Does it work through USB or CAN? Looks pretty cool though.

Using tx/rx UART pins from MS2. The display sends out an ascii "A" and then receives the 209 byte stream for data. I Oscoped it last week and was seeing 45ms period between requests and the return stream and the time to process and display the new values. So somewhere in the 20 to 22hz range. Did a 30 minute drive to work this morning without a hickup.

ol boy,

I hate bringing old threads back to life, but I'm interested in what 4D Systems display you used for your project.
I'm starting to make progress on my S10 and thought this would look nice on the dash reading the information from my MS2.

It the 4.3 inch version. This was years ago. I'm sure there gen 4 displays are even better. Most are now capactive touch. Of you looking for a dash then get what ever fits your dash.
