Greeting tuners and programmers,
I am working on using Microsquirt in an application not widely discussed or used, marine. It will be controlling LSx platform engines, but I need the microsquirt to communicate over a NMEA 2000 backbone as opposed to the standard CAN. Electronically CAN and NMEA 2000 are compatible, and NMEA 2000 uses the J1939 protocol with a few different packet transmission options.
While I have a pretty good understanding of these protocols, I am not a programmer. I assume that some minor communication configuration will need to be done, as well as altering definitions and format for the data broadcast.

If you are familiar enough with these systems you are confident a solution is possible, please contact me.
Thanks,
Corey
Need CAN output altered for project, will pay!
