Edis 4 firing issue

Post by Dreadnought4629 »

Hello all I have a ka24e build and running ms2 with edis4
So I got it started Saturday night and it's only running on cylinders 1 and 2, 3 and 4 are firing constantly on the timing light and no difference in engine running when I pulled the plug wires off 3 and 4. i have the wires going to the correct sides of a brand new acceleration coil pack. Any help is appreciated

New does not always equal good... particularly if it's an Accel coil, in my experience.

But I would first confirm your injectors are spraying fuel on all four cylinders.

Cylinders 3 and 4 are firing erratically like if you hooked the timing light to a coil before the distributor

Most fancy pants timing lights can't deal with the reverse polarity on the second side of the waste spark coil packs.
