Feature request- pneumatic/electric shift solenoid control

Post by 93supercoupe »

Setting up a twin turbo glide G body on a ms3 ultimate and the owner has an air shifter. I’m realizing now there’s no good way to control this.

For now, we have it using a programmable output based off rpm and vss but if this were a 3 speed, that wouldn’t work.

With the ultimate/Evo products having a ton of i/o, it doesn’t make sense to have to buy another controller when it seems like this could happen in the software.

We would need some way to plot multiple vss/rpm/tps points to capture this.

I haven’t thought of a great way to do this, so I’m looking for ideas.

Is there any way you could use the bike shifter sequential shift cut feature? That has an automatic mode.

That’s a much better option then the programable outputs for sure.

But if it could have a minimum vss like it has a minimum rpm and also a and/or vss feature for each automatic shift point. (Loose converters)

And if we do vss based stuff, maybe selectable vss input (Incase of tire spin, you could use vss 2)
