Wouldn't it do the same thing in the car running off an inverter? ECU pulling ground from the USB making for lots of noise.

Sort of. In a car that's called a ground loop. Ever wired up an amplifier and heard a whistle coming from the speakers that changes with RPM? That's a ground loop. You can't hear it with the MS, but I imagine it can cause all sorts of problems.
This new serial protocol should be robust enough to not corrupt your MSQ in that environment, at least. :)

Have i to go to alpha 12 to solve it ?
Not necessarily. There is no reason alpha 11 should be going off line unless there is some reason in your connection. Is it going offline primarily while the engine is running? You may simply have a poorly shielded serial cable.

Alpha 12 with the new serial protocol does not fix bad serial connections, it does help insure they are detected and data is not used if corrupted.
I have never had problem with my cable. I have problem while the engine is running.
tomorrow i wil try vith 1.079
Thanks

A known bug with alpha 12/13.
CAN passthrough doesn't work correctly with larger data sizes. In blocks of 8 it will be fine, but if you request a full 1024k it falls over.

I know what the problem is and plan on fixing it for alpha 14.

I have tested 1.11 beta version.
if vr not run and in ts I see "not synced" after a few second, ts goinig offline and I see a msgbox"Warning Communication Estabilished! However, there is a configuration error with your firmware. Check to make sure your MS3 firmware is correctly loaded. Going offline"

Is I start engine or rotate vr trimmer on jstim and I testing port in comm setting, ts going online and is all ok.

Please take the following test.
Go to My Documents\TunerStudioProjects and erase TunerStudioLogFile.txt
With the Megasquirt off, open TunerStudio.
On the communications menu enable "Debug Log Comm"
Power on the Megasquirt with zero rpm on the stim of car.
Wait until you get that message you mention.
Turn off the Megasquirt.
Close TunerStudio.
Attached your "TunerStudioLogFile.txt" here.

You don't by chance have your min and max TPS ADC reversed do you? The log show the same pattern as that caused.

I noticed something wierd today on the way to work. Until my CLT reaches 170* ( warmup ends at 175) my boost duty shows 100% in spite of being set for inverted operation. As soon as CLT hits 170 it reverts to normal. But the really weird part is that boost control operation remains normal no matter what the CLT is. I apologise for the lack of msq and datalog, I currently don't have a wireless connection available for my netbook. I'll post them tonight.
