Hi James
Thanks for your reply!
Is it possible to have the relationship between the ports and interrupts of the CPU and the inputs and outputs of the MS3, or do I have to get it from the source code you released?
regards

You need to study the source code and the MC9S12XEP100 datasheet.

Hi James,
Will there be a release of the 1.1 Code one day? I am adding some custom code in the ms3_user.c and it would be great if this option will still be given in future.
OpenSource allways was a key feature of megasquirt 1-3 to me.
Thanks, Thomas - Your fan from Germany

MS3 source code released

Post by muythaibxr »

It will eventually be released but not until it is released and we have started on 1.2/2.0.

Megasquirt is not for use on pollution controlled vehicles. Any advice I give is for off road use only.

I am trying to upload my code using codewarrior thru the BDM port of ms3. Aparently I must unsecure the chip.
how can I do this?
I know that if I do this later I will have to reflash the bootloader later to use again your firmware.

STOP! Do not try to use BDM.

Use the supplied MS3 firmware loader to upload your firmware s19.

Now that 1.1 is out, is the source near to release? I'd like to read the implementation of the MS side of the CRC checked serial comms.
