Ok, I had some very strange and very severe behavior after upgrading to beta 21 that I have never experienced before.
While accelerating under moderate to high load, I would get violent misses and loss of power for a moment and then it would go away. I traced this to loss of sync which I cannot fully explain. I then had the engine completely die on me after another round of the same behavior. I was able to restart and drive again following this.
I looked in my log file and noticed the loss of sync, and then later the lost sync count went from 2 back to zero while the engine was running. When the lost sync count reset to zero I also see ASE also enable, again all while the engine is running. I also see my EGO correction disable which is also due to the ASE and reset I imagine.
I see a total of 6 RESET marks in my log file while the engine is running.
Attached is the msq. I cannot attach the log because it it too big (2 MB) so I will need to email it if you want it.
I have had issues with loss of sync in the past but it has been stable for the past year and the problem appears to go away when I revert back to beta 20.
I'm not sure what to make of this.
