Ok, I had some very strange and very severe behavior after upgrading to beta 21 that I have never experienced before.

While accelerating under moderate to high load, I would get violent misses and loss of power for a moment and then it would go away. I traced this to loss of sync which I cannot fully explain. I then had the engine completely die on me after another round of the same behavior. I was able to restart and drive again following this.

I looked in my log file and noticed the loss of sync, and then later the lost sync count went from 2 back to zero while the engine was running. When the lost sync count reset to zero I also see ASE also enable, again all while the engine is running. I also see my EGO correction disable which is also due to the ASE and reset I imagine.

I see a total of 6 RESET marks in my log file while the engine is running.

Attached is the msq. I cannot attach the log because it it too big (2 MB) so I will need to email it if you want it.

I have had issues with loss of sync in the past but it has been stable for the past year and the problem appears to go away when I revert back to beta 20.

I'm not sure what to make of this.

I sent the log and msq files to your email last night.

I looked at my log files again. It appears it is not a lost sync issue but instead a reset issue. I found at least 4 log files with beta 21 that have reset markers in them while the engine is running. The resets appear to be happening prior to the engine being fully warmed up if that means anything. I do not see a single reset once I have been driving for a while. Logged battery voltage looks good in the log files and I have not had any issues with charging etc.

I looked through at least a dozen log files from beta 20 and not a single reset event. There have been no changes to my configuration during this time except for normal tuning activity (EA, warmup, VE)

Drove for 2hrs on beta21 - no resets or other weirdness observed. So I'm none the wiser on the symptoms you are seeing.
(Drove back on the latest dev code, no issues seen there either.)

Thanks for the update. For the time being I'm back on beta 20 which is running just fine. I will most likely not poke at this any further until after my own trip at the end of the month. I need to keep my setup as stable as possible for a while.

I'm driving about 1700-1800 miles round trip and should most likely stop messing with things that are working for me until after that trip is over.
