Hello James, I'm not sure If this problem is really the firmware but I tuned a honda civic b16a2 turbo but only at 6psi with a pre1.1 beta 24 without any tune issue (then the turbo died) the turbo was replaced and then I tuned it to 16psi, when I was going to tune the spark table the car got a problem, when it hits 6000rpm it sounds odd I would say that it sounds like the spark is being retarded to minus something , but the tune map is ok, the same day I started to tune a fiat coupe 5cil turbo, and the same problem at 6000rpm.

honda civic b16a2 turbo
garrett 60-1
1000cc injectors batch fire mode with pwm current limit
forged pistons and rods
24-2 trigger wheel at cam speed
coil on plug in secuential mode.

fiat coupe 5cil turbo
fiat 5 cylinder 2.0 turbo engine
forged pistons
garrett gt3071r
1200cc low-z precision injectors on secuencial mode and 6ohm resistors for each injector.
secuential coil on plug

both with ms3 +ms3x board and ms3 release 1.1

the two engine have the same problem at 6000rpm, maybe I made a mistake but it sound like a coincidence to me, and I had no problem when I tuned de honda with a pre 1.1 beta 24.
Megasquirted engines: 4g63, k24a2, b16-b18, duratec, ecotec, fiat 8v-16v, modular 4.6 32v, 1fz-fe, fiat 5cil 20v, Opel corsa, G54B, VW AG, 2ZZ-GE.

In the Fiat datalog you appear to be hitting your fuel cut revlimiter. Although that is set to 6100rpm, perhaps a spike in the slow datalog didn't get caught.

Try taking datalogs on the SDcard (at 10ms interval) to catch the symptoms in more detail. Be sure to also include status1,2,3,4 as the values of these fields indicate things like fuel cut and show that you dipped the clutch and enabled launch/flat shift.

However, please also roll back to the previous firmware and re-test with the exact same tune file.

Update on the Mac runs fine now. But I got a 12 Hz PWM error while linking to the ini in the FW1.1.1 directory. This should be fixed in a future release (Ok it can be modified manually). Doing the reconfiguring tomorrow.

Explain more. What was the error and how do you think it should be fixed?

I think it's an ini configuration. The error message states to the wrong 12 Hz PWM error which will be ignored and could be fixed manually.
See png files attached - i think no real issue.

That's an unused setting that was deleted. The warning message is correct, but in this case harmless.

The GM 7x works wonderful!

Any plans at all about working on Ion sensing? I know this has been a not-so-much discussed topic, but I'm trying to reverse engineer a GM CSI Ignition module. Its pretty straight forward except for 2 unmarked 14/16 pin IC's that do all the magic. I'm trying to get figure out how to make the hardware for the Sense input, then I'll draft my father into looking at the code lol.

EDIT- ignore this. Sorry for posting in this thread. Just realized that I resurrected a thread in this section about it.

Would someone check the code for injector pulsewidths. I'm getting an occasional stumble that is very reminiscent of the injector output problem that was causing too much fuel to be dumped in an early version of the code. I only notice the occasional stumble with the current version, but it is definitely there. I don't recall it happening with the pre alpha codes. Maybe the latest pre-alpha.

I'm afraid that would be like searching for a needle in a haystack without a high speed SDcard datalog to show it up.

I have been running 1.1.x since before it came out and have not experienced anything similar.

Example?
This "feels" closer to the fixed missing event single cycle issue than the excess pw one, but if it only happens as a single event it might very well look the same.
