MS3 1.3.2 source code released

Post by jsmcortina »

To announce the release of source code for MS3 1.3.2

Be sure to read and respect the included README and LICENSE files.

http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms3/files/so ... -1.3.2.zip

You'll need the 2012 build tools available from http://www.msextra.com/tools

If you don't know what source is... this file isn't for you!

Regular users should go to the Downloads page for pre-compiled code instead.

Great news, thank you!

Quite some time ago (October?) I emailed you a patch to additional CAN I/O (more ADCs, digital inputs and outputs) as I need these for my car.

Is there any chance that if I update the patch to make it work with 1.3.2 you'll merge the patch with the next release (whether the stable 1.3.x or the development 1.4.x branch)?

It seems that I can no longer access the online files directory so without a direct link there is no way to get the patch.

I added a direct link. However, you can still browse the directory tree, by following the "Old versions" link on the Downloads page.

Quick question, I get errors when applying the patches from 1.3.2>1.3.3 and from 1.3.3>1.3.4.
Patch command is complaining about different line endings of the core.ini file. All other source files
patch successfully. Is there a way to fix this? Or can you post a 1.3.4 core.ini file?

you can find the .ini file in the firmware .zip itself , just skip this file and use the one with the firmware
