James or anyone else who has loaded up this software,

I downloaded the software to C:\MS3 and unzipped it. I just tried to load this firmware on a new DIYAutotune MS3X and am stuck and not sure how to proceed. After establishing the COM port, I get the following sequence in the dialog:

-------------------------------------------------
Megasquirt3 hardware found.
Did not find expected firmware files in current directory.

ECU hardware type was detected, but did not find matching firmware files in current directory. You will have to choose it.

File to upload <1, 2.., filename, default=unknown>
-------------------------------------------------

Not exactly sure what it is looking for as I have never seen this on any firmware upgrade I have done. Anything I do results in: " Unable to locate that file. Press Enter to continue", even just pressing Enter.

Help!

TIA,
Scottie

Post a screenshot of what you see in Windows Explorer before you click on the loader.

You have to extract the files first, you can't run them from inside the zip.
MS3+X on 73 Karmann Ghia ignition only with LS2 truck coils firing in sequential, fuel next.
2333(103*70) Type 4 with DTM also sitting in living room just need exhaust.

You might want to wait until a bit later today, I have a new beta release coming out as I just found a bug with SDcard in pre-1.3.3beta2.
