When using a "trigger" for the SDcard datalogging, wouldn't it make more sense to record a single datalog?
The present behaviour will log forever once a single trigger has happened.

another option i can think of is toggle switch mode. when drag racing, the time between burnout and staging my mind is going a million miles an hour and pushing the button for 2 seconds is almost never actually 2 seconds.
