Low/Zero Oil Pressure Shutdown
Is it possible for me or anyone to add this feature in case of a zero oil pressure condition? I will be running an oil pump that is driven by a cog belt and if it were to fly off, or the pump sucks air, I would like an automatic ignition shut down instead of relying on a pressure switch?

Re: Low/Zero Oil Pressure Shutdown
The latest MS3 has an oil pressure warning light output, although it's not intended for automatic shutdown use.

Is it a strong enough signal to use a relay to shut off the ECU's power?Matt Cramer wrote:The latest MS3 has an oil pressure warning light output, although it's not intended for automatic shutdown use.
