Hi,
I'm working with Ms3X and i try to achieve some nice exhaust popping, just for sound reasons. I don't want to have it's popping all the time just for a short period after I lift the throttle (able to switch it on off), simular the way most modern turbo cars do it like mini, bmw (sport button). Therefore the als feature is brillant but I miss one option. I don't want to activate it again just after time (because then it popps say every 10s), I need a setup where als only gets activated again after load exceeds a given value.
What do you thing about it?
I need an option for als activation exceeding a given load value. One more thing useful is allow negative values for addedfuel in ALS, but I can do that myself in the mainController.ini also.
One more question about this is. How does ALS go together with overrun fuel cut. I know for regular ALS makes no sense at all. But for this application it would also be useful. If I say 2sec delay in overrun it should work or is there any connection between these features? But I guess these features work independent, so should be no problem right?

Re: ALS feature request for sound developement
you can already set a delay for orfc
1990 bmw 320i daily driver with m20b25 ms3 sequential fuel, 380cc injectors, d585 coil near plug, home made cam sync, launch control, fan control, vss, homebrew egt logging what's next????
Re: ALS feature request for sound developement
For people that want that sound effect i do it in a simpler way.
Long enough delay on overrun fuel cut. If include AFR target is cheked, low AFR in the overrun part og AFR table. From 2000-3000rpm up maybe.
Lowest possible advance in the same part as the AFR table is rich. It have worked on every turboengine I have tryed.
To make it switchable you can use tableswitch.

Re: ALS feature request for sound developement
Thank you for your answers. I already do it the way you explained here. But one advantage of using ALS would be to use spark cut. Besides that I think it is a prober solution with more possibilites. I don't know how much work it would be to put in a TPS threshold for reactivation. But I would really appreciate it.
