Water Injection suggestions
Hello all,
Im getting ready for another season with the turbo car and this year id like to rely on my meth injection setup a little more, but i think the feature could use some help.
The main issue i was having that when the meth injection was on, there was no easy way to subtract fuel from the VE table to compensate for the addition of the meth. So in my setup, i was trying to have the meth come on above a certain MAT, but couldnt effectively do that because with the addition of the meth, it would run rich. Also, the possibility of adding or subtraction ignition timing may be helpful, to some.
I was wondering if there was a possibility of the addition of a simple 1 line table, like such. (this example is from a nitrous function)

Re: Water Injection suggestions
This would be a very cool way of handling this.

I agree, thanks for the supporttpsretard2 wrote:This would be a very cool way of handling this.
Obviously it would only use these "mini" tables when the water injection function is active

Re: Water Injection suggestions
Thats definitely an option, but its much more complicated and it also uses up an entire function for a simple process.franksidebike wrote:

Im trying to have my meth come on according to MAT. To use tableswitch to do that, i would have to use an In and Out pin looped over, and those are getting scarce in my setup.

In my setup I have many In and Out Pin's for this funktion.
In my Wather injection settings Wather pump goes on whenn:
TPS, RPM, MAT, MAP over my setpoint is switch the Watherpump with InjBank1 (Valve Output) on, and Pump Output (FIDLE) goes to PE1 and make the Tabel Switch.
Thus 3 outputs (InjBank1, FIDLE, PE1) for one funktion.

Re: Water Injection suggestions
The latest alpha looks to have beginnings of Loop outputs which look to be internal, so you won't need to 'waste' a pair of pins.
That's a great start.

Re: Water Injection suggestions
So i downloaded the new 1.4.9, but im still unclear on how a I/O loop applies to my suggestion. I can see that being extremely effective for certain situations, but i dont see it being a better solution then what has been suggested.
Although i did read that the loop function is not complete? maybe it will become more clear later on?
