Hello,
Not sure if this is firmware issue or TS issue. In programmable on/off outputs, "Active value on/off" on top looks to be reversed. I made it: Power on value - "off" and Active value - "off" to make one of my output (sparkG if matters) to be active when condition is met and to be off on power up.
Also, it's probably sound like a request for a feature. As of right now, both first and additional condition seem to be independent. Could they be made dependent? (second after first,or by additional choice)
For example, I put as a first condition 'rpm', and as a second one - 'seconds'. Right now, timing starts always from the power up the MS. Could it be made , that timing starts when first condition is met?
Thanks

Re: On/off outputs question (MS3 pre-1.4 beta 10 released)
Sorry about that. I made a quick video on the issue.
I have my CEL and LED connected to SparkG and inj_J outputs respectively. They are illuminated, when the outputs are active (sparkG gives 5 volt, inj_J gives ground)
http://youtu.be/rDsLZXqmgVk
At the beginning, I thought that the logic of the spark output is reversed, but having "off" in both Active On and Power On values should lead to CEL being illuminated all the time.
The msq attached shows in-phase illumination. (off-on inj_J settings, off-off sparkG settings)

This is correct and expected behaviour.ekam99 wrote:Sorry about that. I made a quick video on the issue.

I have my CEL and LED connected to SparkG and inj_J outputs respectively. They are illuminated, IF the outputs are active (sparkG gives 5 volt, inj_J gives ground)
What do you think about the issue?

What issue? I'm not following.
The Spk outputs are active high.
The Inj outputs are active low.
James

Re: On/off outputs question (MS3 pre-1.4 beta 10 released)
And this is exactly what I am saying. So, the wiring on both LED and CEL is made so they are illuminated, once connected outputs are active.jsmcortina wrote:What issue? I'm not following.

James
BUT
Inj output (LED) behaves as it should (Power on value = off, Active = on). With the same settings SparkG is reversed, being illuminated once you turn the key on. And it shows normal behavior (in-phase with LED) when Power on value = off, Active = off
Definitely a confusion here..
