MS-TS data block size issue

Post by elaw »

I remember reading a post here a while back that I've searched for and can't find it. It was about the size of the "output channel" data block coming close to a limit (512 bytes?) and how changes would need to be made for it to exceed that limit.

The needed changes - are those in the MS firmware, tuning software, or both?

Now that the 1.4 source has been released I'd like to do some customizations, including adding some values to that data block. If changes need to be made on the MS3 side I can handle it (hopefully), but of course I can't change Tunerstudio.

There's hardcoding in TunerStudio that prevents this currently.
