Fuel pressure and deadtime

Post by AbatelliCristian »

HI guys,
currently ms3 can handle the fuel pump in pwm for change the fuel pressure. This work fine, but I noticed that with different pressure there are different deadtime for injector.
More fuelpressur, more dead time....

It would be good idea to enter a correction fuelpressure-deadtime?

Interesting. Without doing other maps maybe is enough a single value expressed in ms/bar where you add x ms to the deadtime every increase/reduction of pressure. Maybe worth testing some injectors deadtimes at different pressures to check if it's linear...

On ID's website, they have them WELL characterized - the dead times are NOT linear, not even monotonic.

That said, you can take a good stab it is. I guess I've never checked it WORKS, I just set it up assuming it works.
