Request/Question: open-loop fuel pump duty VS injector duty

Hi all,

Can anyone explan why the open loop fuel pump output duty table is based on RPM vs %FuelLoad?

Wouldn't it make far more sense (tuning and simplicity wise) to base it on output % Injector Duty?
I know i would prefer this for my setup... anyone else?
