Any update on this? Being able to use sensors to automatically try and save my engine on the track would be an awesome feature. Just like there is an AFR safety system, but have a safety system for Oil pressure and temperature too.

Im also for this. Just lost a motor due to oil starvation. Probably could have avoided an entire rebuild had it shut down/lower rev lmit
What about setting it up like the CLT rev limit. That way A. You dont have to use it. B. Can set just a lower rev limit to get you out of the road and C. Be able to set that rev limit to 0 for the guys that want total shut down.
