Need delay between nitrous and fuel/ign retard

On the track and having an issue with the nitrous.

The solenoid is in the passenger side footwell, so there's quite a bit of distance between the solenoid and the engine.

When I'm giving less than 50% duty on the valve, there's a delay between activating the valve and the nitrous reaching the cylinders, and the engine bogs down as fuel is added and timing is retarded instantly.

So, I need an additional delay before the fuel/timing is adjusted - activate the solenoid now, and add fuel/retard the timing 100ms later for example.

Easy and makes sense, right?
